RS232 Serial Ports
3x RS232 serial ports (D1, D2, D3), 9-pin ZH1.5mm spacing socket, detailed pin signals for each pin can be found in the diagram below. Among them, the D1 serial port has the highest priority in wireless link data transmission (higher than audio and video data, network port data, and other port data), with the lowest latency. D2 and D3 serial ports access the wireless network through the network IP. The baud rates for the three ports and the transmission modes for D2 and D3 ports can be configured through the WebUI. The D3 serial port can also be reused simultaneously as the management configuration port for the system, allowing system parameter configuration, query, and management using AT commands through this port.
Note:D1 is fixed as TTL, D2 & D3 is optional for RS232 or TTL.
Serial Communication
Please use an USB to TTL serial 3.3V adapter cable to connect your computer and the device (TTL)
On your serial debugging tool please select the correct serial port, and other settings are as below:
Baud: 115200bps
Data: 8 Bits
Parity: None
Stop: 1 Bit
Application Notes
It can realize long-distance two-way wireless communication, point-to-point two-way communication, or point-to-multipoint two-way communication. In point-to-multipoint communication, if the communication between two access nodes needs to be transferred through the central node, each node is in the same wireless local area network, and all access nodes communicate with the central node to share the wireless bandwidth, and the device automatically allocate the system rate evenly. The data transmission from the central node to the access node is called downlink, and the data transmission from the access node to the central node is called uplink. In point-to-point or point-to-multipoint communication, the downlink and uplink share the wireless bandwidth. When the device is shipped, the default setting is the ratio of uplink rate to downlink rate = 4:1. Therefore, if using the device to transmit IP Camera video, the IP camera should be connected to the access node. The device will automatically and dynamically adjust the wireless transmission rate according to the carried data stream. When the amount of carried data is smaller, the transmission distance will be longer under the same conditions. Therefore, when using the device to transmit IP Camera video, it is possible to increase the wireless transmission distance by appropriately reducing the IP Camera video encoding bit rate.
